Alat Penjimat Minyak ~ adakah ini auta je…

sometimes bila keluar ke shopping complex mesti jumpa org jual alat penjimatan minyak … then dia mmg paksa kita beli .. aku bukan tak nak percaya tapi kebanyakkannya device/liquid tu datang dr china or datang dr negara kita sendiri tapi mostly aku x percaya..

dulu aku pernah guna stormberg tapi hujung² hayatnya keta aku jd benggong tak mcm tuannya… hmm ni ada bbrp fakta yg aku baca harap dapat membantu semua org ….

Fuel saving device is nonsense.. no such thing!!! These are the real thing :-

1) Pump up your tyres

Keeping your tyres inflated is one of the easiest and most important things one can do to improve fuel economy. Saving petrol means saving money.

If a range is recommended by the manufacturer, the higher pressure should be used to maximize fuel efficiency. Deflated tyres run hot and jeopardize safety. It will also cause the tyres to wear out prematurely, affect the vehicles adversely, and hurt the fuel economy by increasing the rolling resistance.

Tyres lose about 1 psi pressure per month due to air loss caused by the tyre hitting holes, bumps and kerbs. Therefore, the tyres should be checked at least once a month. Just 1 tyre deflated by 2 psi will result in a 1% increase in fuel consumption.
2) Drive at moderate speed

Avoiding high speeds on open roads results in safer driving and better fuel economy. In highway driving, over 50% of the power produced by the engine is used to overcome aerodynamic drag. Drag and thus fuel consumption increases rapidly at speeds above 90km/h. On the average, a car uses about 15% more fuel at 100km/h, and 25% more fuel at 110km/h compared to when it is doing only 90km/h.

However, this should not lead one to conclude that the lower the speed, the better the fuel economy – because it is not. The fuel consumption of an average car increases sharply at speeds below 50km/h.
3) Clean the air-filter regularly

Clogged air filters increase fuel consumption by restricting airflow to the engine, and thus should be cleaned/replaced when necessary.

Clogged air filters can increase fuel consumption by up to 10%.
4) Use thinner tyres

Tyres with thick width will improve the handling of your car. However, it will also increase your car’s fuel consumption. Thicker tyres mean more rolling resistance, and thus will consume more fuel.
5) Start up the car properly

With today’s cars, it is not necessary to prime the engine first by pumping the accelerator pedal repeatedly.Do not crank the engine excessively. This only wastes fuel. When starting the engine, idle it no more than 30 seconds to warm it up. An engine will warm up faster on the road. However, avoid sudden acceleration before the engine has warmed up sufficiently.
6) Drive in high gear (overdrive)

The engine runs most efficiently between around 1,500 and 2,500 rpm. To maintain these low revs you should change up through the gears as soon as practical and before the revs reach 2500 rpm.

For automatic transmission cars, you should always switch on your overdrive to help saving fuel. Overdrive will allow your engine to change gears at lower revs. It also puts your transmission into an “economy” mode and lets it engage the final “overdrive” gear when cruising to keep the rpms extra low, thereby increasing fuel economy.
7) Travel light

Avoid carrying any unnecessary weight in your car. On the average, every 50kg added load in your car will increase fuel consumption by 2%.
8) Anticipate traffic ahead

A driver can reduce fuel consumption by up to 10% by anticipating traffic conditions ahead and adjusting the speed accordingly, and avoiding tailgating and thus unnecessary braking and acceleration.

Accelerations and deceleration waste fuel. Braking and abrupt stops can be minimized by not following too closely and slowing down gradually when approaching a red light.

It takes up to six times as much fuel to move a car from a dead stop than it does for one moving at just a few km/h.
9) Avoid strong acceleration

The fuel consumption remains at a minimum during steady driving at a moderate speed of about 90km/h. Keep in mind that every time the accelerator is hard pressed, the engine goes into a “fuel-enrichment” mode of operation that wastes fuel. The vehicle should always be gradually and smoothly accelerated. Using cruise control on highways can help maintain a constant speed and reduce fuel consumption.
10) Minimise aerodynamic drag

Additional parts on the exterior of a vehicle such as roof racks and spoilers, or having the window open, Roof racks are bad for fuel economy increases air resistance and fuel consumption, in some cases by over 20%.
11) Don’t let your engine idle

Minimize fuel wasted in idling by stopping the engine whenever your car is stopped or held up for an extended period of time. Idling more than a minute consumes much more fuel than restarting the engine.

By having the engine switched off, you will save more fuel than is lost from the burst of fuel involved in restarting the engine. The net increased wear and tear from this practice is negligible.
12) Use the air-con sparingly

Air conditioners can use about 10 per cent extra fuel when operating. However, at speeds of over 80 km/h, use of air conditioning is better for fuel economy than an open window.

-DYAM Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim

semangat kenegerian tu kadang-kadang penting tapi bukan tahap boleh merusuh dan mencederakan penyokong negeri lain. tak dinafikan ada penyokong ni memang tak sekolah & sekolah tak tinggi. tapi apabila emosi mengatasi akal jelas menyempitkan ruang untuk berfikir.

finalist FA cup 2013 Malaysia

Lalallaalalaaa lalala..

puas… ahhhh

yahooooooo !!

PUAS..Para pemain Johor Darul Takzim FC meraikan kejayaan mereka layak ke separuh akhir Piala FA 2013 setelah menumpaskan Selangor 4-2 menerusi sepakan penalti selepas kedua-dua pasukan terikat agregat 3-3 dalam aksi suku akhir kedua Piala FA 2013 yang berlangsung di Stadium Shah Alam malam tadi.

kelibat penjaring ini sangat ketara hingga menyumbat 2 gol
nunez

Luaskan kuasamu JOHOR…’

FA Cup Malaysia

the glory hunter gelaran yg diberi kpd Johor Darul Takzim FC kerana ke’glamour’an nya sekarang hinggakan kedai kecik tepi toilet awam pun ada menjual apa saja janji ada gambar harimau selatan.
pandangan aku simple as usual … janji boleh jual dgn cara halal … teruskan

SILENT DIVING PHOTOGRAPHY: THE BENEFITS OF NO BUBBLES

silent diving tools

Imagine finding the perfect subject to take pictures of while diving: you get your camera ready, settings are in place, you’re getting closer, and you are ready to capture this ideal image in front of you… then you exhale a mass of bubbles, and the moment quickly vanishes! Your perfect picture disappeared right before your eyes. After the dive, you compare images with a buddy team of rebreather divers, and you find that not only were they able to capture that perfect picture you tried to get, but they also got so much more!

In recent years we have seen a growth of rebreather use among the dive community, particularly with photographers for many reasons like “silent diving.” You might find yourself asking, “What is silent diving, and why is it becoming so popular?”

Rebreather diving, a component to technical diving, has many advantages over using traditional open circuit SCUBA equipment. For the purpose of this article, we’re going to focus on one for photography applications. A rebreather essentially recycles every breath you take by removing the bad stuff (carbon dioxide) and adding in a little good stuff (oxygen) when needed while your breath flows through the machine. During this course of action, your exhalations are not let out into the atmosphere; they are recycled through the unit. This process allows for “silent diving.”

You might be asking yourself, how silent are we really talking about? If you take a moment while you’re reading this text to pinch your nose as you breathe in and out of your mouth, that is how silent rebreather diving can be. Now to compare the process… As you inhale through your regulator on traditional open circuit SCUBA, a hiss sound is created as you draw a breath in; when you exhale, bubbles are released creating even more noise. The noise produced by diving open circuit SCUBA is loud and heard by the marine life around you, giving them a chance to swim away or hide before you have a change to see them. Rebreather diving or “silent diving” gives you a quieter approach in the water allowing for more opportunities to see marine life you may not have even realized was there.

The experience with marine life interaction on a rebreather versus open circuit diving can be compared to your experience while watching a movie. When you’re diving open circuit, it’s like watching a movie on your television at home. You get to see the movie out in front of you nice and clear. You may not get the best details of the film, but you’ll find the overall experience is still good. When you’re on a rebreather, it’s like having a set of 3D glasses on with a massive screen in front of you. The images are brought to life and in your face, details are apparent and the overall experience is a lot of fun. Although the fish know you are there, they are not startled by your presence so they feel the freedom to swim around you and get close with ease. This gives photographers the ultimate viewpoint while capturing underwater photos. You may even have to remind yourself to look and not touch!

Taking photos underwater on a rebreather is a very attractive idea to many photographers out there, but there is a catch; you must have a third eye focused on the rebreather at all times and have the discipline to put the camera down if needed. The rebreather is the number one priority of the dive, even if you have a pod of dolphins in front of you! It’s important to ask yourself if you have the self-control to do this to keep you safe in the water. Rebreathers are a great tool for many diving applications and should be taken very seriously.

Now imagine yourself silently descending on a dive, and you see so much more while you’re gliding through the water. You find the perfect subject to take photos of, and it doesn’t seem to mind your company as you click away…
